The small village was dark with no streetlights at night. There was no one around. I just walked along the gravel road, feeling uneasy. Even something right in front of my nose was not visible. Moreover, the eerie sound of bamboo rustling in the wind was frightening. After walking for a while, I turned around and saw a small light in the distance. The light moved up and down and approached me. The sound of footsteps on gravel indicated it was a big person. In the pitch darkness of the rural night, with no moon or stars, the person walked toward me. I couldn’t breathe when the light finally reached me.
