I appreciated the turnaround time, the ease of ordering and the quality of editing. I also really personally appreciated the editor's note that was sent along with my edited manuscript. This was worth it.

Every time I've called you, regardless of whom I've spoken with, I've received patient and helpful assistance with my publishing project.
All of this is first time for me, so my learning curve is steep. But I was able to publish my first book ever and it looked great! I've received a lot of positive comments on the quality of the publication itself (what you produced for me), as well as the content (which of course I produced). I could not have done either without you.
Now that I'm moving on to issuing an ebook, it's like a brand new learning experience. And your service is just as great. I look forward to getting the ebook and the print distribution completed and getting the book into everyone's hands.

After publishing my 2nd book with BookBaby, I have become very disillusioned with BookBaby. My book was published in middle of March with a release date of May 6th for the paperback. I paid BookBaby for a fairly expensive ad campaign. When May 6th came, Amazon notified all pre-order customers that there was a supply issue. After that my book couldn't even be ordered on Amazon. As of May 22, my book is still not available, and my ad campaign has ended. BookBaby says they can do nothing about it. Other than a few books ordered directly from BookBaby, I have no information about whether any of my books have been sold.

Hello, I apologize for any frustrations with your Amazon listing. As we already discussed, we print the books as Amazon orders them, but then it's up to Amazon to pick up that inventory and carry it to their warehouse to fulfill orders. Despite your May 6 release date, Amazon didn't pick up their inventory until May 16. BookBaby is not able to encourage Amazon to retrieve inventory (or order any more books) any faster than Amazon's normal processes allow. The ad campaign you ran directed users to your BookBaby Bookshop page, which would be unaffiliated with the Amazon listing. On Bookshop, the book is always available for immediate purchase.
This company is beyond amazing! I was under an extremely tight deadline to get this book done for my daughter’s bridal shower and the team at Book Baby went above and beyond to give customized service in order to make sure everything got done on time. When I called, I got a human on the phone who was based in the United States and it felt like I was dealing with a friend who genuinely cared about my project. They even left notes for their team on Friday night so that my project was specifically dealt with first thing on Monday morning. Problems were addressed so that we could fix them on our end in an expedited fashion and get the book into production quickly. The book that I thought would for sure arrive late ended up arriving two days early. And not only that, the quality was so far beyond anything I could have ever ordered through one of those other large and fast production companies for what was still a very reasonable price. I am so thrilled and will definitely use them again.

Normally I would give BookBaby a 5 star review. I have used BookBaby for the last 6 years and their service has been outstanding.
This was the first time Bookbaby offered a hard cover for the 9x12 portrait book. The hard cover is great. But the entire book is bend.

There are several things that went wrong. most importantly, there is a process to generate a proof that demonstrates what the actual book will look like on the kindle through a file that requires a download of the kindle reader. I approved the proof but that is NOT what was published in the kindle store/amazon. There are over exposed graphics and graphics with borders that were not present on the approved proof. Making mistakes do happen but the WAY they handled this was very unprofessional. First of all, the responsiveness was horrible. They did not return emails or calls for quite a time and there appear to be 3 people that work for the company. The manager was not available to help and they appeared to not able to visualize the text on amazon products or kindles which was incredibly shocking that as an ebook publisher they could not see what they were publishing. They also could not fix the problems with the graphics and would not refund the money even though they could not fix the problem nor deliver what was approved in the proof. Very unprofessional, not tech savy and if you have problems you will not be happy with the responsiveness or service. DO NOT USE .

It was quick and relatively easy to use. The customer service is responsive and helpful. The only downside are the templates for publishing. Especially the one that is literally just a blank Word doc! If there was a more user-friendly way to do it, this would be a 10 out of 10 experience.

Had to print around 40 hardcover books, each around +300 pgs. Had some errors with quality and format, and Bookbaby was so great with helping me work through that and contacting me directly with steps of how ti fix my file. The publications shipped so quickly and quality was amazing
