Very disappointed that hours after booking a nearly £900 holiday, we were offered £25 off our next booking! Tried to contact customer services to ask about this, waited absolutely ages on chat line, then no help at all except for a phone number. Gave up!

We found your website had improved enormously since last year. Once we'd keyed in dates and selected an area, we got an accessible number of relevant places, scanned through them, and rapidly made our choice. Booking then could not have been easier, and all the subsequent info arrived promptly, as promised.

Great house, we went as a party of 10 friends and it had everything we needed. Some areas were a little unloved but still useable. We also had a big Ant problem so lost lots of food to the ants, there wasn't any ant traps out. We returned on the Saturday ready to have a hot tub only to find a man mowing the lawn, its a big lawn so he was there a long time, which was fine but we weren't told he was coming nor did he introduce himself, so just felt weird, thus is something that should be done when the house is empty or on changeover days.

The Coach House is the most amazing place for a group of friends and their furry friends. It is so dog friendly that it makes it easy to take a dog with you. Practical floors, stair gates, secure courtyard and a five acre field for walking. For the people there is plenty of room the open plan style means that everyone can be together whether they are cooking or reading or lounging with a glass of wine. We have been here many times and already have another couple of dates booked.

Our daughter and her family had just booked two weeks holiday in Scotland and, by quoting the reference of her cottage, we were able to find one nearby of a size suitable for the two of us without much difficulty. It will be good to spend some time with them with our own space to chill out. Booking process was simple.

A lovely spacious, clean and well equipped cottage. Well appointed to visit other areas but also relaxing enough to stay in if you did not want to go out anywhere. The fact that the approach track had been resurfaced was the icing on the cake!! We have been three times and have already booked again for next year.

We had a lovely holiday in The Haven Lodge Cottage, which was beautiful. It had everything we needed.
We received a warm welcome from the owners, together with much appreciated complimentary extras.
The location is excellent, with easy access to Ashbourne and being able to walk straight into the beautiful Dove Dale direct from the cottage.

I have used cottages .com for many years we have never had bad experience there staff are extremely helpful we had to change the dates of a holiday once and they couldn't be more accommodating they have A wide range of cottages for you to choose from and more being added all the time we love the fact you can input choices i.e Seaview or countryside .

Lovely cottage with everything needed in the kitchen. Really comfortable bed. Best part was relaxing in the summerhouse with a glass of wine looking across the fields. Welcome pack on arrival was excellent and a nice touch.

House wasn’t cleaned, no sheets on the beds, no answer from cottages on check in to report issues, had to chase them multiple times the following day to get any type of explanation or resolution. Ruined our holiday. Cottage was already extremely over priced.

Liked the fact you are asking me about experience setting up reservation on a secure “trust pilot” site because I almost did not make the reservation because cottages.com site showed it was not secure. Maybe making the site secure would permit me to use my iPhone also. Our family is looking forward to the trip.

Amazing apartment, beautifully decorated and well equipped with very high spec appliances. Would happily move in and stay forever. George in the NISA shop below is a legend. He helped us with our luggage, showed us the way to the apartment and the best place to park for free. Very friendly young man, very chatty and hilarious. Whatever you are paying him it’s not enough he’s awesome. Would definitely stay here again.

Beehive Cottage has one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen. We often stay in pretty cottages around Wales and England and I completely understand why there are regular return visits to Beehive cottage. You could just sit at any of the outdoor seating areas and there is a view that looks quite unreal! We even got to see an epic sunset. Kim and Angus have created a little heavenly cottage and gardens and they are such lovely hosts. They honestly deserve an award for their gardens and the amount of wildlife they are nurturing. Their years of experience is evident as they are available when you need them but offered the perfect balance of privacy and space. The cottage is cozy and super clean with lovely furniture, linen, and kitchen equipment. The shower is great and there are handy spaces and storage to unpack toiletries. There are a few hiking options from the property and it’s not too far to travel if you need groceries. I would be happy to recommend this place to friends and relatives. I always try to give a balanced review so it can be helpful and honest but honestly we cannot think of anything to improve this place.
