Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. You step out the airport and there is nobody that tells you where to go or what to do. Eventually after finding out the number, it got in contact with the rental agent. Then you have to take the shuttle to the station which is 15 minutes away. And then you can wait 60 minutes to get attended and then it takes only 20 minutes until you get the car ….

Affordable, high quality car rental in Bari

We looked at so many different car rental places but we’re so glad we decided to go with this one as they gave us a brand new car and made it so easy by picking up and dropping us back at the airport.

Would highly recommend if you’re looking for an affordable high quality car rental in Bari.

Great company and great service

Great company and great service. Picked us up and dropped us back to the airport in good time. Great communication and we had a new car in perfect working condition. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again, thank you! :)

Car rental in Puglia

We booked a car in Bari with Felirent via DiscoverCars.
The free shuttle arrived quickly and the office is located only 10 minutes away from the airport.
We were greeted by Mariagrazia and Alessio on the front desk.
They both were very kind, friendly and helpful and even upgraded us with a bigger car at no extra cost.
When we returned the car Mariagrazia was there and the process was very quick and easy and gave us a lot of information about Bari, our next destination. She is lovely!
We will definitely use this company again and we would recommend them to anyone who needs a car to visit Italy.

Rosa the employee was really nice. We got a gratis update on our car. The company insurance is not the cheapest but hopefully worth it.

Stressful Experience

This was my experience with Felirent Napoli:

- The pick-up process, once you exit the airport it will take you a long walk until you reach the pick-up location.
- The pick-up van had a broken window, not giving the best image for the business
- The delivery of the car was made in the dark on the street - The car wasn't fully clean outside and inside
- I got charged 531 EUR for a surface scratch that would be hard to identify as the car was collected in the dark and it wasn't clean.

I'm someone who rents cars everywhere I go and so far this was the most stressful experience.

Debit card owners will pay twice

Be careful "debit card" owners or you will pay more than twice !

In 2024, I don't understand why it's not possible at Felirent to do a simple pre-authorization at the check-in on a "debit card" like I did for all my previous trips in others rental companies around the world.

Instead, if you do not have a "credit" card, at Felirent they will force you to subscribe to an extra insurance wich is 32€ per day !
So we paid a supplement of 128€ for 4 days wich is more expensive than the initial amount of our reservation 🤡. Fortunately we booked for 4 days and not for 2 weeks !

A pre-authorization would provide to the rental car company the guarantee that their is enough money on the card in case of accident by blocking the amount (the principle of a pre-authorization...), and the customer would not have to support this ridiculous extra cost.
I was ready to leave a deposit in cash but they did not want.

I would prefer giving a bigger deposit than having to add to the initial price a 50% supplement, especially when you are already on spot, at the last minute with no other option.

This should have been mentioned *CLEARLY* and not in small letters in the very bottom of the voucher.
If Felirent have no other options than using this terrible policy, they should at least do the necessary to ensure their customers have the information before check-in.

Unless you have a CREDIT card, do not book at Felirent.

Great Experience would recommend Flexihire

Hired a fiat Punto from Naples. Car was nearly brand new, & staff were lovely, efficient & spoke English. Really happy with the service. Be aware they don't have a presence in the airport, but you have to walk through the airport car park to a police box by a multi storey car park about 5 mins from terminal.

I rented Peugeot 5008 aut

I rented Peugeot 5008 aut. 5+2 seats. Milano Malpensa Aeroporto 03/05-09/04. We arrived in the evening with the family . We called and the shuttle driver ( very friendly person) picked us up. At the office the person who helped us was so helpful and very friendly. The problem were when we returned the car there was a woman, who was unfriendly, rude and cruel. She was really unprofessional, we almost missed our flight. Maybe she had a bad morning, we had to pay the price

No empathy or help.

Our plane was a few minutes late arriving at Olbia Airport but the luggage took over 45 minutes to get through. The company knew we were coming and should have known about the delay. We got the luggage at 22.02 and called them, they shut at 22.00 so no answer and no reply. I phoned the following morning at 8.00 to try and sort the rental out to be told that as we had booked through an agent they could not see the details and therefore the car had gone yet they knew we had a booking. Seeing as they closed at 22.00 and would not reply and then opened at 8.00am when I phoned it seems strange how our booked car had gone.
We eventually got to a place where they had a bigger car at a cost of Euros 125 on top of the Euro 65 we had paid already. That was never going to happen.
Very disappointed in the lack of empathy and willingness to solve the issue reasonably. A a note there are many car hire firms at Olbia Airport, the choice is yours.
You may have noticed Felirent posted a message to get in contact, I have emailed but no reply.

Crazy extra fees

I had a good car rental experience initially. But later, Felirent charged me an 'administrative fee' for each letter they received from the police regarding a traffic ticket I got while driving the car. They charge 42.70 Euros for each letter scanned and emailed to you. Charged me three times, for three letters, regarding one fine. If you rent from Felirent and have a car accident, and the insurance company and/or police send ten letters to Felirent, they will charge you 42.70 for each one. Imagine paying Felirent 427 Euros for 10 emails. Insane.

Great team at Felirent Malpensa

We rent cars on a fairly regular basis and Felirent Malpensa is one of the best companies we have used. The team were super friendly and polite, the car was great for the price and the whole process was quick and painless unlike many other operators! There was no hard sell on insurance etc either which is always a bonus.

Great car rental in Sicily

Hired from their Catania airport, Sicily branch. Great service, very friendly staff and a new and good quality car. The staff was not pushy at all and did not try to sell me extra insurance (as some reviews here say). I suggest just be vigilant and aware of whether you need it or not.

No problems whatsoever, I'd use them again!

Excellent rental service

Thumbs review is for felirent at malpensa airport in Milan. I got a fantastic rate on an excellent car. The shuttle picked us up quickly and the location is very close. They were helpful and kind upon pick up and drop off. Of course i returned the car full and in perfect condition. So there was no issues and a great experience
