Self scan technical issues …

For the past six weeks shopping in Asda Kingswood in Hull I have had nothing but trouble with the self scan tills as they’ve updated their systems.

Having to jump from one till to another as they won’t work, my bank card is no longer accepted via Apple Pay on my phone because of failed transactions due to technical issues. Yet if I use the same card on my Apple Watch it is fine!

Left stood for ages as not enough staff, lucky if there is one team member for all the tills it’s ridiculous.

I expect nothing more from an American owned company, they’re all the same, greedy and won’t spend on more staff. Shouldn’t be allowed to own companies in our country we should just stick to our own!

Back to Morrisons from now on for me!

Asda don't care about Coeliacs

Order included Gluten Free food because I have Coeliac disease, and they substitute with non gluten free food. How can that even happen? It's not a diet fad having gluten free, it's a serious illness that Asda couldn't careless about. I rang their customer service and both times I was told just to return the items neither person understood I word I said. I'll never use Asda again. Awful company.

I had a very bad experience with…

I had a very bad experience with customer services in my local store. The store colleagues had me in tears in the way that they treated me. I can't find anywhere online to make a complaint. The number that they give is not a UK help centre and I found it difficult to understand the person on the other end of the line. There is no online chat facility. I have been going around in circles getting more and more frustrated.

The delivery drivers are very helpful…

The delivery drivers are very helpful indeed, as I've sustained some very severe injuries in the past. Always friendly too. Id like to extend my most sincere thanks! Good selection on the ASDA web site at reasonable costs.

Failing Their Customers

ASDA yet again fail to have stock of items on offer!
They must know there will be more demand yet they continue to disappoint customers by failing to deliver what the customers asks for.
It's no wonder they are losing market share to Lidl and Aldi.

Asda Barnes Hills

I just witnessed how heartless Asda Barnes Hills staff can be. There was a young lady sitting in front of Asda. She didn't beg for money or disturb anyone. I approached her asking is she hungry and what can I get her. She was very polite and grateful for a simple sandwich. At same time a tall, short blonde hair lady came and told her to pack her staff and that she is calling the Police because she cannot have anymore begging for money over her. I wasn't impressed with that approach. Shame that she was treated like that. I found it very unpolite.

Ordered online for home delivery

Ordered online for home delivery. Updated order during the evening , once. Then an hour before the cut off I remembered I needed another item. Added the item, attempted to pay and the verification came up, all I got was a page that kept circling. I rang the bank. Not their end they said. So after 10 attempts at trying to get the order through I gave up. The bank insisted it was Asa’s website that’s the problem.
This has resulted in my order not going through in time. So I’ve now lost it.
It’s not the first time this has happened.
The groceries when delivered are not always in the best condition. The substitutions are a joke at times. I see from the below reviews I am in good company.
Needless to say , my pass ends early June. I will not be re Newing it. Until they get there act together I won’t be shopping there in the future.

ASDA HIGH WYCOMBE …

For two hours we were shopping with the children using the ,,scan and go system,,,... during self check out we were selected for security check... the lady had to check 37 products!!!! After some time, when she checked products on the top, she started putting the food on the floor!!!!!! I noticed and the lady was rude and offended. she stopped scanning and left me with children without any reason!!!! After some time, a man( area leader) came and took away the basket, saying that they had to scan EVERY product at the till!!!!! (shopping worth £150)... the service was very rude, the products were dirty and crumpled... they started shouting at me and being rude... .I will never go there again after being treated like this...not recommended. ASDA Treat you and your family like a potential thieft!!!!!

Asda home delivery

Asda home delivery, absolute joke. Raw chicken split open, porridge oats split and meringues smashed to pieces. They want photos before they’ll refund which I’ve happily sent and I’m awaiting a reply. Mistakes are a regular occurrence and I feel like they’ve accused me of lying. 8 substitutes on this particular shop, too. Never again. I’ve cancelled my delivery pass and I’ll take my average £120 shop a week elsewhere.

Booked a delivery for a convenient time Asda on the app says it’s coming earlier, it didn’t come at this time so I couldn’t leave to go out and was stuck at home due to them. This is not the first time either!

I got accused of shop lifting at the basket checkout by a member of staff. wrongfully I might add ,I reported this to a manager, when I enquired what the outcome was I was told that it was private and confidential !!!!!!!! I have since found out that this member of staff has done this to at least 8 other people and yet remains working with the public.

Click and collect, just not when we say

Ordered an item for click and collect as no store in area (tried 6 different stores) had in stock. Was ‘supposed’ to be in collecting store after 5pm today, no text to say was ready, just “tracked my parcel” to see it has NOT even arrived at your depot ! Worse than politicians for broken promises. And why don’t Asda reply to negative reviews ? Too ashamed to admit when things go wrong ?

I had a terrible experience with Asda…

I had a terrible experience with Asda home delivery. On the day of my scheduled delivery, just six hours before the expected time, the van driver called me asking to cancel my order as his Van had a incident . He mentioned it would take another seven days to process the refund and that I would have to place my order again from scratch. This was extremely inconvenient and disappointing.

I will never use Asda online again. It's better to use Sainsbury's or Tesco; they handle things in a much more professional manner. Since the recent management change, Asda has become completely unprofessional.
