Hi we dropped our Mercedes motorhome of…

Hi we dropped our Mercedes motorhome of for its Mot & Service out of hours I rang them next day did not have any record of the booking however they had Done the Mot not sure how they knew to do the Mot ? It failed on a headlight first told it had been adjusted then told it needed a new one the customer service is rubbish they do not keep you updated you ring and they do not ring you back this is the first & last time we will be bringing our motorhome here we are still waiting to get it back been a week now!
Further to this I was called by Scott Marshall regional manage who basically paid lip service to this complaint. We will never again use Northside as it is Spaulding at no point were we asked what could be done to make it right! Absolutely woeful! I fully accept your support of the customer service team in Hull Scott but following our telephone conversation, where you admitted the poor customer service we had received, it simply sounds like damage limitation on your part! The so-called good will gesture you mention was a result of non authorised work to our motorhome. I would suggest that you leave the BS at one side in future when dealing with paying customers. It’s clear to me now that the culture at the Hull depot clearly filters down from senior management. You have completely lost our business and our trust.

Despite the initial misunderstanding, there were no delays and all work was done to manufacturer standards.
Yes, we did have to order the headlights but only because we don’t generally store many spare parts for the various motorhomes available.

Fantastic service from Scott and Alex

We order a lot of vans from many different manufacturers but I have to say that Scott and Alex have both gone above and beyond. Nothing bad to say!!

Communication is key in the transport industry especially if you have a small fleet, and i cant fault the team at Northside Sheffield on that front. Also flexibility which is another thing Northside excel at. Friendly staff on the "front line" and a helpful attitude, i cant really fault them.

Steve in the parts department is a…

Steve in the parts department is a legend. We needed an part urgently on Saturday morning, Leeds was the only place that had it. We were over an hour away, we got stuck in traffic on the M62 (of course) and didn't arrive until a couple of minutes after closing time. Despite this Steve was helpful and knowledgeable and very friendly and very forthcoming with tips and advice. Big thanks to him.

Reliable and personable

Friendly and efficient service provided the superstar that is Josh. Would have been a Friday night to forget, but Josh had me back on the road within 90 minutes from the call being placed, after completing what looked like a tricky job replacing an alternator. He is an outstanding asset to the company!

UPS Delivery Driver couldn't get home!

Josh you absolute legend! My delivery van all of sudden went into a 12mph limp mode due to an ad blue fault that had left me stranded in York. After waiting for around 40 mins which was well within the call out time I was quoted Josh from Northside Truck and Van Clifton, came out and fixed the van which turned out to be the ad blue injector. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and an all round top man! No money was exchanged to write this review ha and I would highly recommend this company!
