I have used Gardening Express previously.
They have great offers and the received plants are great quality. I have given this order 4 instead of 5 because the main exterior packaging cardboard box was quite flimsy and had been squashed quite badly during transportation. Luckily only a few broken leaves. Great company, great plants, great offers. Let down by a cardboard box and delivery personnel ignoring the FRAGILE signs plastered over the packaging

I like that you can order robust, healthy plants, big or small and guarantee that they will arrive fresh and undamaged. I have just received a 60cm plus Hardy everlasting sweet Pea (C10179 on the Gardening Express site). It was despatched on Friday 24th May and wasn't delivered until Tuesday 28th May after the Bank Holiday. The plant was still well watered with the pot wrapped in a plastic bag and just superbly packed in their 'signature' tall plant box. The couriers DX have always delivered undamaged plants to me - a miracle really considering the time in transit. I think the key is to is to look after them properly straight out of the packaging. I honestly have never had a failure with Gardening Express. Thankyou.

Gardening Express is simply the best! My only gripe is that following Brexit, they cannot ship to France, where we now live and so I end up buying surrogate bargains for members of my family in the UK rather than being able to obtain them myself - but then that is not at all their fault!!!! Best of luck to GE

Plants arrived in perfect condition, moist soil and intact. The 6 tomatoe twist pots are better quality and size than I expected, great how theres 2 ways to attach the water tray, a great idea/design and a bargain price. Very pleased.

The lavender plants are a great size coming into flower and very healthy looking. Delivery earlier than Expected

The box was a bit bashed on the top but caused no damage to the plants.
It would have been helpful if delivery man had rung my bell instead of just leaving outside.

A very nice and easy website to navigate. All the plant choices are well described & explained. A large variety to choose from. The company checked out on trust pilot, so felt happy to place my order. The order confirmation email was received promptly and I received updates regularly via email. The plants came today very well packed, labelled & secure. All in very good condition and I have repotted and watered, & looking forward to my blooms.

I’ve ordered some bamboo and miscanthus from them, and neither were as advertised in the photos.

The photos here suggest the bamboo would be a few feet tall:

What I received is less than a foot, and one of the plants looks very unhealthy.

The Miscanthus also looks unhealthy.

I regret buying here, complete waste of money. Should have spent a bit more for proper quality.

Placed several orders, a wide variety of plants, bulbs and shrubs. Everything in arrived well packaged and extremely healthy.
I’ve used other on line plant delivery companies. Gardening Express are by far the best. You can order with confidence.

I have used Gardening Express on a number of occasions. Plants always packed well and arrive in good condition.
My only issue is that you get a confirmation email telling you about the process but then it all goes quiet. I was concerned that the last order wouldn't be with us by the time we went on holiday (despite allowing at least 2 weeks) and when I enquired I received a response but it wasn't overly helpful. Plants arrived all good.

The plants I received are absolutely wonderful! Better than I had hoped. My experience of buying plants from other online retailers has been sadly lacking until now. I highly recommend Gardening Express! They were well watered before packaging, and were packaged appropriately, and I was kept informed as to when delivery was taking place. All very good! The description of the plants I was buying was not clear .I thought I was buying 2 sets x5 of smaller plants for a rockery ,however two large plants came looking nothing like the photo on the advert . Although the plants are in good condition you need to be clearer for newcomers what they are ordering and give true pictures of what the plants will finally look like. I will be taking photos when they bloom and compare them to your stock photos.

Took two weeks to dispatch plants to then have them sitting in a box with Yodel for 4 days over the bank holiday weekend. Then my package was delivered to an imaginary address. Still have not received my package, yodel have no idea where it has been delivered to and the company won’t answer my emails regarding a refund. They do not have a direct contact number either. I wouldn’t recommend.

I ordered a pack of "Six Evergreen Hardy Succulent Plants". The picture of the product on their site is beautiful - a panoply of colours ranging from bright red to pale red to yellow to green. What i received was 6 small pots packed in a box without much protection - on opening the box, some of the plants were upside down and some were partly damaged. These are fragile plants and so I don't think the current form of packaging works.

That said, the bigger disappointment was the blandness of the plants - nothing like the picture - pretty generic green/pale green and not anywhere near as interesting as the product photograph suggests. I subsequently visited my local gardening centre, only to find a seemingly better set of plants priced similarly...

The web site is easy to use but I would suggest giving more details about plant height and spread. The plants I ordered were properly packed and protected and arrived safely in the allotted time frame.

Easy to order and the plants were spectacular when they arrived. The only downside was the delivery time it took twice the time that was advertised. This was not a big problem for me especially seeing the order up close. I will use this company again and I would recommend it but please be patient.

Took longer to deliver than expected - ordered 17/5 received 28/5. One plant (African Violet) seemed to have some leaves missing and dead flowers (they had snapped off) and looked a bit lopsided. Wasn't overly impressed with how they were packaged but overall the plants were great.

The Clematis we bought was poor quality, sparsely yellowed leaves and looked unhealthy. I wanted to send a photograph to them but couldn't find any way to contact them and they don't have a phone number.
Deliberately confusing website. Will never ever buy anything from them again.

Took ages to deliver and Box turned up damaged , expensive French lavenders rammed into a box loads of broken stems and snails ! A kid at all cost as already quibbling about offering me a refund
