It isn't what I expected. It took forever to get the interior file correct. It was costly and even more time consuming than anticipated within a busy work life. The staff were polite and helpful throughout the process, but we're not too interested in a quality product. I needed a more friendly process in getting these books in the most flawless condition possible. Why isn't the revision process one cost till perfected and the quality of the book rated. The e-book, manuscript and the audio book should all be revised and reviewed until perfect and made presentable all at the same time at all channels. I'm with authorhouse books now, but if purchased books by prospecting patrons continue not to be stated on my royalties report I'll be forced to leave with my works very soon.

From the sales consultant to the intake coordinator to the publishing coordinator to my books consultant everyone was helpful, professional and responsive. This is my second book with Authorhouse. I have used other publishing companies with disappointing results. I would recommend them to anyone interested in self-Publishing. They edit your manuscript and publish a quality product.

The eBook version of my 1 February 2019 book is still not available at bookstores. The Kindle version of my 2010 book never got posted.
The eBook versions were part of the publishing contract.

Don't count out AuthorHouse as a publisher, however. They do have good, knowledgeable staff but you have to be firm in order to see the result through to completion. They could do a better job with checks and balances during the production stages.

I have had excellent service on the projects I have submitted. The agents I have dealt with over the past 8 years have been supportive and helpful, friendly and cooperative. I have never been tempted to find another outlet for my work.

The main person was in the U.S. and was always great. Many of the marketing people who called were from the Philippines and were far from great. They contacted me many me times than should have been necessary but always eventually resolved any problems. A number of the marketing phone calls were misleading and were hard to get them to stop calling me for marketing purposes. One of my orders for a few hundred books contained 4 copies with my book cover and someone else's actual book pages inside. All in all, I am happy and they have lots of room for improvement.

I found Author House to be an excellent publisher for my book. It turned out beautiful, inside and out.
They people were very helpful and accommodating, and my book was ready even before I expected. It was a great experience!

This is my second time publishing a book with AuthorHouse; they live up to their contract and their personnel/staff are responsive and available. I do recommend them. In my experience, they offer a superior product at a reasonable cost. My reduction to four stars had to do with one (fixable) mistake on one person's part and one personal quibble.

My experience with AuthorHouse has been wonderful. For me AuthorHouse is an author's paradise. Its experts improved not only the layout of my math book, but the design ideas of the back and front covers of the book. The result has been a book that looks wondrous and beautiful. The interactions I've had with my Senior Publishing Consultant and AuthorHouse staff have been positive and enriching for me.

Sometimes I need to digest my surroundings. Before I make another decision. Sometimes things can be a little bit more pushy. That's like a turn off or another dreaded moment.

Most members of staff were friendly and helpful however there was one who was abrupt and not polite over the telephone. I experienced her tone on two occasions.

AuthorHouse produces a good product, but the price points are very high. They push for marketing, which may or may not be useful. When you get near submission, things get very hectic, almost harassing. There is a huge turnover in personnel, some of whom are knowledgeable and others less.

NOt always a pleasant experience..but I gritted my teeth and moved on then taking care of one issue, then went to the next in line. Most Consultants were excellent others I questioned. Over all the book was nice when done. Few things never got changed- but I overlooked them.
